Microchips

Consider having your dog or cat microchipped. A small microchip is permanently placed between the shoulder blades of your pet and is coded with an I.D. number. The EMCSPCA offers low cost microchipping through Animal Hospital of the Sierra in Oakhurst. The fee is $25 which includes lifetime registration.with HomeAgain, a company that maintains a national pet recovery database. We also host Low Cost Microchip Clinics, the second Saturday of each month, (weather permitting) at the EMCSPCA Animal Care and Adoption Center, 43180 Highway 49, Ahwahnee, CA 93601.
